Claude Wasserstein's Amazing Home

While looking on today something striking caught my eye. Amazing decor. I clicked on the slideshow of Claude Wasserstein's breathtaking home in New York City, however, breathtaking might be an understatement for the views that they can see on a day to day basis. Claude, who used to be married to Bruce Wasserstein known around the financial district in NYC has really come to show her eye for design in this space not to mention how beautiful she is :). LOVE it. 2-0911-VO-WELL350-01_13461943891 8-0911-VO-WELL40-01_134624954790 7-0911-VO-WELL39-02_134623936274 The use of pattern in this room is perfect. The wall to wall ikat carpeting makes me swoon! I also love the brass trees in the background, some really unique pieces grace this large space. The red side table with metallic gold accents is super chic. 3-0911-VO-WELL36-01_134620132655 4-0911-VO-WELL38-01_134621144858 UMM..can you please look at the amazing mirrored stools in the shape of Claude's son's name Jack. Serioulsy so cute and really makes the space. I also love the oversized globe on the lucite display stand. 5-0911-VO-WELL39-01_134622677493 6-0911-VO-WELL39-05_134622848720 1-0911-VO-WELL45-01_134618645189

New Look for Old Home

This old home reinvented and designed by RJ Thornburg is something that caught my eye. I love the fresh feeling you get and how different a feel it is from the exterior.

Love the pop of pink!
The black and white cowhide rug really makes the space and is one of the elements that makes it attractive to my eye.
How different and funky are these light fixtures above the dining room table? I also love that piece of artwork and the bamboo

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Tuesday!

Glamorous Office Space

There are no words to describe how amazingly glamorous this office space is. To me it is the epitome of elegance and charm mixed with natural beauty. RUE Magazine never ceases to inspire me and this shot from a past issue lacks nothing of the sort. I wish that I could walk in everyday to this office and work - I know that it would fit me perfectly and I would never tire of those AMAZING drapes or the snakeskin gold chairs. I die. This room just made my Monday that much better. xoxo
The white feather tree in the corner of the desk reminds me of the one my grandma and I found at Pier 1 Imports around the holidays a few years ago. What a great way to re-invent it! It totally works with the inspiration boards also, not making the workspace too serious-- keeping it light and airy.
Totally diggin' the use of the ornate mirrors against the wood!

The Right Amount of Feminine Flavor

While browsing through Dwelling Gawker today I came across this totally amazing apartment. LOVE the pops of hot pink and how they create such a luxurious feel alongside the exposed beams and brick throughout the space.

I can totally see myself cuddling up on the couch and relaxing...heck...I would never leave this place if it were mine! There is something so welcoming and relaxing about this space. Although, the story read that it belongs to a couple in Barcelona and although I simply adore it, I'm not sure that any man would be able to handle so much PINK ;).

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I am staying home and relaxing! Hopefully it will allow me some time to get some projects done around my condo. xoxo

100th Post!

Today is my 100th blog post! I can't believe its been almost 6 months since my first post and I can't say how amazing how it feels to have something to call my own. It has been so much more gratifying then I ever could have imagined and I am sad to say that this wont be my most inspiring post to date.

I went to the doctor today and she wrote me three scripts for an ear infection and a bacterial infection so I am just trying to get rested and hopefully feel good as new by Monday. I wanted to show some things that pick me up and give me happy thoughts when I am not feeling well. Hope you all had a great Thursday. Tomorrow is the weekend!

My go to home remedy of chicken noodle soup, green tea, and surfing the web :)

I told you that I would show you the finished product of my dresser with the new antler I got in Maine. The best part was the price! You can't beat their $10 price tag. Decorative antlers similar to this in a store cost you a pretty penny and I'm glad I didn't cave and buy one from a retail store.

My post from yesterday was featuring my perfume roundup and some of my favorite fragrances. Here is how I have them displayed on my bathroom counter. I found two cake plates at TJ Maxx about a year ago and thought it was the perfect girly touch for my collection.

My Signature Scents

I have listed some of my favorite perfumes in my collection. Some are close to empty and that means I can start searching for a new fragrance to carry me through the holiday season. What is your favorite perfume? I know most people have a "signature scent" but I am one that likes to mix it up and use a different one everyday.

1. J'Adore by Dior
2. Oh, Lola! by Marc Jacobs
3. ChloƩ
4. Brit Sheer by Burberry
5. Chance Eau Fraiche by Chanel

I've been eyeing these Steve Madden leopard loafers and this to die for faux fur vest from Nordstrom as staples for my fall wardrobe. Although it is still 100 + degrees in Scottsdale...a girl can dream right? Loving the animal influences!

For Like Ever

I am super excited about a little project I've been working on. I am attempting to have a replica made of the ever so popular "For Like Ever" poster. Can't wait to show the final product -- just searching for the correct size white frame. Tomorrows Friday!!

Some of My Bedroom...

I haven't shared any pictures of my bedroom yet and after I purchased my fluffy rabbit skin from a little shop in Maine I think my dresser is almost complete. There is one more addition that I will share sometime this week - and I am super excited about it, and the price I paid for it. Happy Wednesday!

Back in Full Swing

I am happy to say I am back from vacation and fresh with so many great ideas and things to show you all! I gathered a few unique items over the past week and can't wait to share them here throughout the week. My vacation was totally amazing and it was so beautiful to wake up everyday to such breathtaking views and sleep in, spend time with Steve's family, and just RELAX.

Although I did have a few hiccups and delays on the flight home (reasoning behind my lack of posting yesterday) we made it home safe and sound.

I picked up the latest copy of House Beautiful during one of my many trips to and from the Philadelphia airport and fell in love with the room on the cover from the house designed by Barry Dixon. The pink, brown and gray hues totally captured my eye and helped me get through the long tedious hours of flight delays.

Taking off to Maine

Tomorrow I will be setting off for a week long vacation in beautiful Maine. I am so excited to get a chance to visit somewhere I've never been - I have heard so many great things and most importantly to get a nice long week of rest and relaxation. I am accompanying my boyfriend on his family's annual trip to Belgrade Lakes, Maine and I can't wait to enjoy the nice weather and spend quality time with his family! Hopefully I will get the chance to share little snippets while I am there and keep everyone updated.

Happy Weekend!

A Peek Into Katie Nehra's AMAZING closet

I am beyond jealous of Katie Simone Nehra's ridiculous closet couture. I came across Elle's feature of the actress, writer, designer's unbelievable collection and I think it is safe to say I am swooning over every styled photograph. Some of her pieces are truly unique yet managed to stay classic over the years. Take a look for yourself... I'm ready to have some fellow jealous friends :)

I DIE over this denim Birkin!! What a fantastic twist to a classic bag.
This fur coat is vintage with gunmetal sequins. I love how the photograph was styled along the colorful bookshelf.
Okay, seriously with this Chanel leather jacket? AND a Vivienne Westwood rug!! IN LOVE.Fly-the-Flag
You know your life is complete when you are the owner of not one, but TWO Birkins.
Sweet and sophisticated Chloe blouse - love the color too!
How funky are these YSL Mohawk heels?
I could look through pictures like these all day long and just dream about what I wish I had. I especially love how Elle incorporated small snapshots of her home and interior decor in each shot alongside her amazing collection. I hope everyone has a great Thursday tomorrow!
