Muse Interiors

I love how calming and beautiful Lauren Muse of Muse Interiors designs her spaces to be. I was instantly attracted to her style and how "finished" everything feels, each room captured being picture perfect. People often think that perfect translates into boring and bland. Muse is exactly the opposite. She incorporates fun colors and unique textures to create harmony within each design. Her attention to detail really satisfies my soul...clean, organized, and livable. I can totally picture myself living in a number of the spaces she has designed. It leaves me wanting to see more.

Honeysuckle is Oh So Sweet

I came across this room on Linda's amazing blog theLENNOX. She is one of my daily go-to sites for inspiration and today has managed to top all the others. Absolutely adore this Lilly Pulizer room that she found over at Horchow.

These images saturated in honeysuckle pink make my heart sing. Honestly, this room just made my day- so thank you Linda :) I also enjoyed her little excerpt on how there are different base colors mixed together to make this eye catching color. The saying always goes...you learn something new everyday. Today I learned that I am head over heels for honeysuckle!

California Dreamin'...

So, I know I posted last week that some of my friends and my boyfriend and I are were headed up to Flagstaff for the beer tasting festival.

Well...change of plans and we didn't end up going. Although I did still have a great Saturday nonetheless, I was still bummed to not be able to escape this heat. yuck.

Anyway, along with the rest of Arizona I am headed out to California this weekend. I will be in Newport Beach for niceeee long vacation (4 DAYS! WOO HOO) in honor of our country's great independence. I couldn't be more excited or ready to get away and relax, enjoy drinks, and lounge on the beach! I have an itching feeling it could be hard to stay focused for the next few days.........hmmmmmm.

Super Chic Suitcases

I am currently loving these decorative storage suitcases from ZGallerie. There style reminds me so much of the ever popular vintage trunk - that must be why I love it. This price is actually affordable too at only $70 bucks!...I may have to snag these up while they last. I can envision displaying a Lucite tray or simple candle holders like these grey fleur tealights.

Versace for H&M!!

H&M announced their newest guest designer for the season....Versace. I think everyone who is anyone is extremely curious and excited to see how this will unfold. Donatella actually wore a dress from the upcoming collection and I am loving the leather and studs! I am also curious as to what price point we will be looking at. Nonetheless, I can hardly wait to check it out for myself - fall 2011.

This weekend: Grab a BRUE? or is it BREW? ;)

I am BEYOND excited to escape this sweltering heat in Scottsdale and head up to Flagstaff for the weekend. Itinerary on deck: drink beer and lots of it!!

Me, along with my lovely boyfriend and my good friend Kat and her boyfriend are all off to have a great weekend filled with fun, friends, andddddd BEER? We are heading to the Made in the Shade beer Tasting festival and get to taste different beers from breweries all over the Southwest.

I have been attracted to kelly green lately and low and behold I came across interior designer Toby Fairley's extremely green living room. There are many different patterns and textures and she totally makes it work! What a great inspiration. I actually have been envisioning a sunburst mirror and a kelly green buffet? Coincidence....or sign that I should go for it?

Current Obsession

I have currently been obsessing over this Chiang Mai Dragon fabric in Aquamarine by F. Schumacher. There are so many different things you can do with it...bold curtains, attractive pillows, and even upholstery.

I especially love the way that Dina from Honey&Fitz had these chairs covered in it. They turned out unbelievable, not to mention how it compliments the beautiful ostrich fabric (to-die-for).

Here are some more great ways this versatile fabric can be used. Must get myself a pillow, or possibly more.
